World Boundaries and Crest Water System


Last week we changed our water system from that modified water from the Unity's Boat Attack repository on GitHub. We chose to go with Crest, a very charming ocean system that works with URP.

The implementation was smooth and it's a much more modular system that what we had.

More gifs to come in the next weeks.

One cool thing I did was the end of the world in the game that we chose to have the sea to just fall down

This was possible because of Crest, it sets the water height based on a mesh so I created one in blender


And the same mesh ended up being our world boundaries


It's very nice to have some blender skillz to use for stuff like that, if anyone is wondering if it's worth to have some basic skills in blender it definitely is.
