A Compass
Hey! I've been pretty busy figuring out life and how exactly we are going to do some things on this game.....
Our intention is to have something very concrete by June 1st, with a more clear perspective of what you really do in the game (we already have the final core idea we just didn't explained too much) and also something very playable!
I'm not sure yet if a demo would be cool but we are still deciding!
This last week I showed the menu I'm creating
And also a nice transition.
But I'm also working on a different way to see the map that was stuck in the left lower corner of the screen before!
The idea is to have a compass that you will have as a reference to where you're going, you will also be able to know (not always) to where you should be heading when delivering something that you picked from an island.
So yeah you are seeing a compass on the player's hand, I think that was a cool idea and better than to having it on the UI all the time since you are not going to see islands locations all the time, so it's really something to help but not a static map. It's very WIP yet so thats why the ugly map on the compass hahah
That's it for this post I wil try to keep more active and post more the next weeks.
