The first devlog for The Collector's Run!

This is a game I'm making directly from the codebase of another game I'm ALSO making. As an indie game developer, traditionally, you're always making 100s of projects at the same time and also abandoning them as well. Well I'm not abandoning this other game but only taking a break to make something much smaller. 

This is in the same theme but not the same genre. The collector is a character that will trade/sell you skills/items on this game


So I thought "well I'm feeling like making some action fast paced infinity runner" so I put Joseph (the collector) into this pseudo-minigame where he will collect the stuff to his shop. It's like a spin-off  from the current game I'm developing (if there is any possibility for a spin-off to exist without the thing that I'm spinning this off being released).

I want the game to feel more like an arcade game where you are trying to push up your high-score and making the run as fun as possible.
